"Zenica milk industry," bought 6.5 million liters of milk

The largest dairy in central Bosnia, "Zenica milk industry" (ZIM) finished the 2011th with better results compared to the year 2010.

Out of about 1,500 farmers from the area of Zenica-Doboj Canton (ZDC) and the Central Bosnia Canton (CBC), in last year  "Zenica milk industry" purchased and  processed close to 6.5 million liters of milk, which is four percent higher than a year earlier.

Particularly good results were achieved in the first half when it purchased 3,341,616 gallons of milk, while the somewhat weaker results were reported in the last three months of last year.

The director of "Zenica milk industry," Dr. Hajrudin Skender said that besides the domestic market, ZIM products are also exported to other countries in the region.

"Despite all the difficulties we face, we and our subcontractors expect to see in 2012. year, if not increase, then at least keep the production at the same level "said Dr. Hajrudin Skender, director of " Zenica milk industry "dd Zenica.
